Cheers for the headsup Butter I dont race any more infact I gave my wheel to SparkyDave a while ago. I did get into Battlefield 2142 to the point where I (along with 4 others) started a team and website, check it out at www.eusoldiers.comBut even that has fallen to the wayside lately. Like Kel I am currently doing two jobs now and with the kids growing fast I find myself with less and less time to myself I still have the game and update when required, so dont be surpised if I turn up like a bad penny (crashing all over the place) and show off my joypad skills........ but feel free to remove me from the team. I will pop in every now and again to say Hi

Hey Kel really good to hear from you! I know more than anyone I think how real life took over for a few years and LFS took the back seat. I'm getting back into it cos of the CLC server. Good to hear your doing well, sounds like your really busy! Hope the job works out for you in the end Dont be a stranger and pop in any time you like, remember to MOOOOOOOOO once in a while too Cheers. MOO!

Hi, sorry I haven't been around. I haven't played LFS for a long time now, in fact, I'm not really playing any games at the moment. The simple fact is I'm too busy really. I currently work two jobs, and have recently undertaken some volunteer work. Probably think I'm nuts after reading that. But I'm hoping the volunteer work is going to lead to full time, in which I can leave the other two jobs behind.
I have also recently moved out, bought a place of my own. So any spare time I have is often doing housework, joy!
So, I thought it was better to come and say hi rather than not reply. I think you can guess I wont be making a comeback into LFS, not at the moment anyway. Anyway, nice to 'see' you guys, see you in the future?

http://www.drivers-republic.comVery cool. 2 guys from EVO magazine and 1 guy from Autocar UK mag. I read Autocar every week and wondered where Chris Harris had gone. They are touting it as the future in Car information, I dont think it is myself, but its a cool tool all the time. I think these guys have the potential to become the "real mans" Top Gear team. They are all racers and journalists, but I think Chris is the better wheelman myself, but I'm bias as I never read EVO I read Autocar Get on there, register and watch some of the vids, very nice way to get to see/experience cars for real with petrol heads doing the work MOO.

hey mate! for some reason Im not getting emails from the server when someone replies to posts, checking that one out!
Aye, never managed to get the wheel set up, or indeed LFS unlocking. Been too busy marvelling at next generation graphics!
Crysis, Unreal 3, Commmand and Conquer 3, COD4, Bioshock.. and more, they are all very nice looking games, I'll get bored of them soon and come looking for steering feel again!
Be good to see some peeps on the track again some time soon, Im dashing off to brum this week so might be next weekend like.
MOOOOO

Looks like a very nice system. What case are you using? anything nice?
Oh, theres a vital component missing, a round thingy in front of the screen, and some pedals.

Didn't really have the money but spent it anyway. >> Pic Gallery <<Zalman CNPS8000 CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/LGA775) Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR Edition" Retail Asus Maximus Formula 2 x OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (4GB total) Asus GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) Put it all together carefully, fired her up and installed Vista Ultimate 32bit. I've played COD4 and just getting started on Crysis. Both look very nice, need to see more of Crysis before I pass any judgements. COD4 is up at max and no stutters, looks a bit better than my old rig, more detail and no slow down. Crysis I started on "very high" and it stuttered a bit. Will have a play with that soon. Not tried LFS yet, but its going to fly obviously and not going to look any different. Just 200+ FPS I guess. Will get that bad boy rigged up maybe tomorrow. MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
